The Council of the Amateur Boxing Association have decided not to send a team to the European championships to be held next month.

Correspondence from the Italian A.B.A., asking them to consider sending a team or part of a team, was considered by the Council at its last meeting and it was decid- ed that the invitation could not be accepted.
