If you are fond of the straight lines of the slats in your Venetian blinds, choose lace curtains designed with strong horizontal lines that harmonise with those of the slats. Some of them seem like bands of insertion, one set upon another.

CHERRY RICE PUDDING
Butter a mould thickly and spread over it halves of glace cherries. Blend two heaped tablespoonfuls of ground rice with some milk.
