Rome, To-day. The Italian air force officer, Mario Stoppani, yesterday estab- lished two new seaplane speed re- cords.
Flying a triple-engined air force hydroplane with a pay load of 5,000 kilogrammes, Stoppani maintained an average speed of 251.869 kilo metres an hour over a distance of 1,000 kilometres.
