Another outbreak of indignation has been caused in Germany by the action of the Adminis- trator of South-West Africa, Dr. D. G. Conradie, în declaring the "Deutsche Bund” a political organisa- tion and forbidding membership in the organisa- tion to all non-British residents in the territory.

The official German news agency reports that the action has caused "not only indignation but astonishment" among Ger- mans in South-West Africa, as negotiations had been going on between the Union Government and the organisation's leaders for arriving at some basis of agree- ment.
It is thought in Berlin that the action is an "attempt to divide Germans in the territory into two groups.” This, how,- ever, will not be successful as "Germans will not
