Street Scene in Old Madrid
Not so long ago this scene would have brought big black headlines in the newspapers of Madrid, shell-torn capital of Spain. Today such scenes create only ordinary excitement. The child is being taken from a bomb crater after a rebel airman dropped his death-dealing load in the city's street.
