The annual report of the Hong Kong, Canton and Macao Steamboat Company shows a loss for the year ended December 31, 1936, of $139,- 190.33, which has been transferred to Profit and Loss Account, bring ing the debit of that account, after deducting a transfer of $361,145.69 from the Investment Fluctuation Account and the profit on sale of the steamers “Lungshan" and "Sui, An" during the year amounting. to $39,412.65, to $236,134.97.
