The foreign policy of the Little Entente coun- tries, as influenced by the new Italo-Yugo-Slavian Pact, is subjected to a critical examination by the newspaper “Universal.”

THE PAPER MAKES SPECIAL REFERENCE TO THE COUNTRIES TALKS BETWEEN THE LITTLE ENTENTE (CZECHO-SLOVAKIA, YUGO-SLAVIA AND RUMANIA) WHICH ARE JUST ABOUT TO BEGIN IN BELGRADE, AND CITES THOSE PASSAGES IN THE LITTLE ENTENTE AGREEMENT STIPULATING A COMMON FOREIGN POLICY.

EVERY POLITICAL TREATY AND EVERY UNILATERAL ACTION WHICH INVOLVE A CHANGE IN THE PRESENT PO- LITICAL RELATIONS OF ONE STATE IN THE ENTENTE TO ANOTHER, REQUIRES THE UNANIMOUS ENDORSEMENT OF THE ENTENTE COUNCIL.
