The report of the Hong Kong En- gineering and Construction Com pany states that the actual loss for the year, after providing for Man- aging Director's Salary, and Direc- tors' and Auditors' Fees, amounts to $3,048.12.

The balance at credit of Profit and Loss Account brought forward from last account is $12,747.87, which, together with a transfer from General Reserve of $15,- 175.12, amounts to $27,922.99. After charging $23,350.84 for deprecia- [tion on Stocks, Plant and Machin- Truck, and the loss of ery, and $3,048.12 for the year, there is a balance at credit of $1,524.03, which it is recommended should be carried forward to next year's ac- count.
