Since the launching of their finance campaign a few weeks ago the Chinese Young Women's Christian Association, have collect ed a sum of over $4,000, this amount being approximately just half of what they need:

LOCAL EXHIBITION OF PHOTOGRAPHY

An Exhibition of Photography will be held in the Main Assembly Hall of the Sailors and Soldiers Home, on April 8, 9 and 10 next. Frizes will be awarded for the best prints in each of two sec- tions viz

Section-A

Pictorial Prints of any subject and

Section B scientific prints and natural history.

Seven teams under the leader-Entries are invited from all ship of Miss Wong Shuet-hing, local amateurs. Dells Party

Over $50 was realised at a Dolls Party organised by the Sam Kwong Girls' Club, and held at the Chinese Y.W.CA. on Saturday

afternoon.

The Club is one of the 13 under the control of the Association. The girls dress their respective dolls in neat and attractive costumes and sell them at the Party. At yester- day's function, among the numer ous dolls four were dressed up as a bridegroom, bride, bestman and bridesmaid, respectively. These were, however, not sold but raffled to realise a larger sum.
