AMERICAN MERGER

A contract has been signed by East- man Kodak Company and Technicolor, Inc., which will bring these two com- panies more closely together in the field of research and development work for motion pictures in colour, according to an announcement here by Dr. Herbert T. Kaimus-president† of Technicolor of Hollywood, Cali- formis. Two two companies have been operating heretofore under a CROSS Licensing agreement, and the new ar- rangémetrt is described by Dr. Kalmas as a further forward step in the same direction=-
