Over 2,500,000 copies of Herr Hitler's book, "Mein Kampf, have been sold in Germany. The edition" of the German version of the book which is now on sale is the 231st, and it is stated in the "Book Trade Review that from January October, 1933 that is to say, af the National Socialist Party had assumed power-the- sales rose from = 192,000 to 1,200,000. - The price of the book in Germany is twelve marks (approximately 1 at current rates).

Up to November, 1936, just over 7,100 copies of the American trans Iation had been sold. "In the Eng- lish translation 5,000 of the first edition at 188 were sold up to January, 1994; in November, 1935, a cheap edition at 3s 6d. was issu- ed, and of this 14,000 were sold up to November, 1936.

Authorised translations of the work have been made in Danish, Italian, Portuguese, the latter espec- ially for Brazil, Swedish, Spanish, and Hungarian.
