Festerday morning was astrous fire 'caused heavy loss in Nanking.

At 345 am; a fire broke out in the Greater China Market and the whole building with 21 other buildings in the neigh- bourhood were completely de- stroyed.

It is learned that the total loss is well over a million dollars.

It was the biggest fire that has occurred in Nanking since it became the capital of China.
