J. Curtis Sanford, promoter of the annual Cotton Bowl football game, announced here to-day that he had offered Max Baer, former world's heavyweight boxing cham- pión, $50,000 to fight Bob Pastor in Dallas next June.

The Madison Square Garden Corporation also is anrious to 18 promote about between Baer and Pastor, but it was believed that Baer would refuse to have any- thing to do with the bout until he has returned from England. The former champion planned to stil for London shortly where he will fight under the auspices of, Wem- bley Stadium-United Press.
