These were the main decisions of the Government announced by the Financial Secretary to the Trea- sury, Lieut. Col. John Colville, in the House of Commons yesterday.

He added that public buildings would be floodlit from May 12 to May 17, and that the number of seats provided would be four times as many as on the occasion of the Jubilee..

Westminster Abbey, he stated, would accommodate 700 more spec- tators than on the occasion of the 1911 coronation.

The total coast to the country, he concluded, was estimated at £152,- 000.-Reuter.

Invitations to send representa- tives have been sent to all the heads of States in diplomatic rela tions with His Majesty and to cer- tain independent States without diplomatic representation, but in treaty relations with Britain. The Colonial military contingent to take part in the Coronation procession will consist of detachments of off- cers, British non-commissioned of- ficers, and African Arab or Malay non-commissioned officers from various local volunteers and will number approximately 120.
