Shanghai, To-day. General Chu Pei-teh, member of the Central Executive Committee of the Kuomintang and Chief Officer in charge of the General Office of the Military Affairs Commission, died suddenly in Nanking at 11.20 PIL yesterday.

General Chn attended the open- ing ceremony of the Third Plenar Session at the late Dr. Sun Yat- sen's Mausoleum on Monday. He was only 49 years old and is sur- vived by 7 sons and 3 daughters. Our Own Correspondent
