Mr. D. J. N. Anderson who was recently admitted to practise in thel Colony, appeared in his first crim- inal case this morning when, at the Criminal Sessions, he appeared to defend Wong Fat Chi, charged with. the murder of Li Kam Yin, a widow who resided at 26 Wai Yan Street, Taipo.

Accused was the adopted son of deceased, who also had an adopted daughter, Wong Wai Fong, and an- other adopted son, Wong Chi.

The accused was married to Tang! Fung Cheung and had two children. His wife's brother was Tang Hoi Leung who was a frequent visitor to the house.
