COLONY CO TENNIS DRAW MADE

E. C. FINCHER WILL MEET PARTNER INTERESTING TIES ANTICIPATED

The draw for the Colony Lawn Tennis championships in the Sin- gies and Doubles events have re- sulted in several interesting first round matches, the Colony cham- pion, Tsui Wai-pui, being drawn against H. N. Lee against whom he should experience little difficulty.

"

Y. Hachiuma, the Craigengower Cricket Club tennis player, is a notable absentee from the Open Singles Tennis championships in which he has competed for several years.

Sirdar Rumjahn, a former hold- er of the title, will meet A. L in the Club Sullivan, runner-up singles championship, while E. C a finalist on "Teddy" Fincher, several occasions, who has never yet won the title, has been drawn his doubles against

partner, W. C. Hung, and a grand encounter is anticipated. I hear that both have already commenced practice for their assault on the Doubles title. S. A. Gray & A. Crawford v. P. F.

Interport between the Hong Kong Football Club, Rugby Section, and the Shanghai Rugby Football Club, comes the annual local Inter- national Tournament which has again drawn four teams, England, Scotland Wales and Ireland.

THE COMPETITION, IN SPITE OF THE ABSENCE OF MOST OF THE NAVY'S BEST MEN, SHOULD BE VERY OPEN THIS SEASON AND THE FIRST ROUND MATCHES NEXT SATURDAY, ON THE CLUB GROUND, SHOULD PROVIDE TWO EXCELLENT ENCOUNTERS.

Wales will meet Ireland, and England will encounter Scotland, and of the two, the latter game should provide the best struggle. The Club's first fifteen, which went through the Triangular Tourna- ment without a defeat, has been broken up and players will be seen in all four teams.

England will be very strong in. the back division, the three-
