Letters, Postcards and Samples for Europe and South America are

forwarded "via Siberia" if so superscribed.

- CHINESE NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS

On Thursday, the lith February the General Post Office and all Branch Post Offices will be entirely closed. There will be no collection from the pillar boxes and no delivery by Postrien, but ordinary correspondence will be delivered to callers at the back entrance of the G.P.O. from 8 am. to 6 p.m:

On Friday, the 12th February the General Post Office and Kowloon Central Post Office will be open from 7:30 am to noon. - The SheungwaD Branch Post Office from 8 am to 9am and also from 7 pm to 8 pm. and the other Branch Offices will be entirely closed; There will be one col-- lection from the pillar boxes as on Sundays, and one delivery of ordinary correspondence at noon, and one delivery of registered correspondence at 11 a. The registered correspondence for despatch by the EMA, Dorado will

close at & am on Friday.

The Money Order Office will be entirely closed during the Holidays.
