-LEAGUE SOCCER PROGRAMME IS THE RETURN CON- TEST BETWEEN SOUTH CHINA “A”, THE PRESENT CHAM- PIONS, AND THE RIFLES, POTENTIAL LEAGUE CHAM- PIONS, WHICH WILL BE HELD AT CAROLINE HILL TO- MORROW. SOUTH CHINA “A” WILL BE TURNING OUT THEIR FULL TEAM, AND, WITH THE RIFLES STRIVING HARD TO RETAIN THEIR PRESENT STRONG POSITION, A

GRAND GAME IS ANTICIPATED.

It is very unfortunate that the fixture should have fallen just before Interport week, as it places South China “A” in a very embarassing position. They have six men in the Interport team and the chances are that to-morrow's game will be fast and bustling, with the possibility of some players being injured.

The Second Division encounter

between the Engineers and the

Rifles should be the most interest- ing game in a long programme of junior games to-day, and as these teams are still in the Junior Shield competition, this game should pro- vide an indication of their chances.

The Club should fully extend South China, another of the surviv- ing teams in the Junior Shield, as they have reinstated Millington and Pürvis in their team.

The Club are again making several positional changes. Milne, who played at centre-half last week, will be in the forward line, where he will partner Bultmann, on the right wing. Gilchrist will lead the forwards and Sloan, who was seen with the seniors last week, will be on the left-wing.

Krilovsky has been moved to the centre-half berth and will be as- sisted by Purvis and Shaw, while Wilson and Millington, the original backs, will retain their old posi- tions. Stevens will be in goal. DREAM LINE-UP UNDECIDED

The Chinese have not decided on their line-up as, owing to pressure of work at this time of the year, several of their players are doubt ful whether they will be able to play in the game.

TO-DAY'S BEST

The outstanding feature of the game was provided by W. Pryde, playing in the inside-right position for the Combined C.B.S.- La Salle team against a team comprised entirely of St. Joseph's College boys. Pryde has the makings of an excellent player and should be taken in hand immediately. His only handicap is a lack of inches, but he makes up for this in other departments by brilliant trapping and distribution of the ball

Another equally outstanding per- former was P. Jorge, of the same tear, at- centre-forward. These
