BUT CARTER TOPS LISTS

(By "ADREM")

THE main feature of the Second Division bowling averages published below are the extraordinarily good figures of B. G. Baker, of the Police, who has taken no fewer than nine wickets more than his nearest rival, W. Stoker, of the Club. With one more match to play, against K.C.C., he has now a total of 41 wickets for the season!

Although his average is not startling, B. R. Iranee, the Craigengower opening bowler, has also shown great consistency. In the course of the League season he has bowled 102.2 overs and is credited with 27 wickets at 12.27 runs apiece.

L/Cpl. Carter of the Army "C", however, heads the list, fol- lowed by A. Kitchell of Craigengower and S. A. Gray of K.C.C., although the latter has only bowled eight overs in the course of the three games necessary for qualification.

Qualification: bowling in three matches and average under 20.
