LIST, POSTPONED. FROM JANUARY 1 AS A CONSE- QUENCE OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS, AND NOW PÙB- LISHED AFTER REVISION, IS THE QUEEN MOTHER.
Her Majesty has been elevated to Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order, and has also been appointed Grand Master of the Order.
The King's brothers, the Duke of Gloucester and the Duke of Kent, have also been awarded honours. The Duke of Gloucester is simultaneously appointed personal Aide-de-Camp to His Majesty and promoted to the rank of Air Vice-Marshal The Duke of Kent has also been made personal A.D.C. to the King, as have Lord Louis Mountbatten, the Duke of Connaught, Prince Arthur of Connaught, the Farl of Athlone and the Earl of Harewood.
PRIVY COUNCILLORS
Two new members of the Privy Council are announced in the per- sons of
Lord Hutchison, Chairman of the Liberal National Organisation, and Mr. R. M. Menzies, the Australian Attorney-General-
