The thirty-first annual drea's Sports of the Kowloon Cricket Club will, as usual, be held on New Year's Day under the distinguished patronage His Excellency the Governor. Sir Andrew Caldecott, KL, CM.G. CBE and Lady Caldecott

Lady Caldecott will present the prizes at the conclusion of the sports.. By kind permission of Major W. E. B. Dowling and Officers, the Band of the 2nd Bat- talion The East Lancashire Rexi- ment will play selections through- out.
Children's tea will be served from 3 p.m. (after the 6th event) 4 p.m. and adults from 4 pm to 4.45 pm
In addition to the Boys and Girls' races, there will
be the usual' side-shows

No Serious Damage Done

It appears that some of the material, which the workmen were handling while tarring the roof of the church caught alight serious and threatened to do damage.
