T. H. Wade, of Essex, in Australia on a private visit, was given special permission to keep wicket to-day. On arrival of the team at Adelaide after the game Wyatt was examined by a specialist. He stated a bone in the left foream was fractured. but was unable to ascertain the seriousness of the injury unti after a further X-ray examination.
"Wyatt will be unable to play for at least four or five weeks,” stated G. 0. Allen, who is beset by more troubles than any cap-| tain in cricket history. Wyatt's injury is a severe blow, as he was rapidly recovering his form and seemed a certain opening batsman in the first Test at Brisbane on December 4. Now, how
ever, it is doubtful if he will be fit.
