SWANSEA - LLANELLY CANCEL FIXTURES TWO PLAYERS ORDERED OFF FIELD

“PRIVATE WAR” AMONG FORWARDS

(By Rowe Harding)

London, October 26.

WHEN Swansea beat Llanelly at Stradey three weeks ago they won there for the first time. since 1932, and became the only side to have de- feated Llanelly this season.

Llanelly won by a goal and a penalty goal (8 points) to a try, (3 points), but after a game which never looked like Eugby, de- veloped into a battle royal and threatened to become a shambles until a man on either side-F. L. Morgan (Llanelly) and J. White (Swansea) was sent off. After the game it was mutually de- cided to cancel this season's two remaining fixtures and also to have no fixtures between the clubs next season.

Perhaps, in all the circum- Istances, this was the wisest de- cision, because it is all too jobvious that a series. of feuds exists between various players on either side, and it is better that they do not meet again for some time.

The identity of the Japanese player he would not divulge, but stated that he is a "very good player."
