Strike Directed Against Women Players

Caddies struck recently against slow women golfers at a club in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts. They are now to be paid higher fees. Leaders of the strike said that the protest was directed at wo- men players who take ter to fifteen strokes a hole and three hours to play nine holes."
