GREAT AIR RACE STARTING TIME POSTPONED

To Take Advantage Of Moonlight

SOME CONTESTANTS NOT IN FAVOUR

The Royal Aero Club announc- ed last month that the start of the air race from London to Joh- annesburg had been postponed from Sept 15 to Sept 29 to give competitors the advantage of the full moon on Sept. 30.

The closings date for entries was extended to Aug 14, which was a fortnight later than the original closing date. The last day for extra-fee entries bad been similarly extended to Aug. 28.
