An imposing new cinema thea- tre, named the Pavilion, was re- cently opened in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of the Federated Malay States.

The building, which incor- porates the most up-to-date ideas in architecture and planning, was designed by Messrs. Frank Brewer, FRIBA, Singapore, and T. C. Van Langenberg and Son; LRLE.A Kuala Lumpur, who have succeeded in incorporating at a minimum cost the best mo- dern features of present-day re- quirements.
