London, July 10. THE many friends of Nils Middelboe, the ver-

satile Dane who for over twenty years has resided among us will be interested to hear that he is shortly to take up a big sports appointment at Copenhagen and will return to his own coun- try for good in a few weeks time.

Mr. Middelboe has been given control of the new sports ground costing £80,000, to be erected by his old club, Copen- hagen Bold Klub (1876), in conjunction with the local municipa- lity. Up-to-date accommodation for several games, including football and lawn tennis, will be provided on a super scale.

The facilities for lawn tennis a game which Middelboe plays with much success, are to include a great centre court for Davis Cup ties, three covered courts (one to seat 4,000 spectators), and ino fewer than 22 outer courts.

In addition to the players of] other games, the Bold Klub has members jover 200 footballer

divided into three sections - boy players, youths between 17 and 19, and seniors.
