The action for alleged slander, brought by Mr. R. S Lambert, editor of the B.B.C. journal The Listener against Sir Cecil Levita, former Chairman of the LCC. is likely to be heard early this month. The date of hearing has not been fixed.

Among those who are expected to give evidence are Mr. R. C. Norman, Chairman of the B.B.C Board of Governors, Sir John Reith, the Director-General, and Sir Stephen Tallents, Controller of Public Relations. The case will probably last a week.

Southend-On-Sea boy of
