This is a distinguished and gripping drama, unlike anything! yet seen, and will appeal to every |conscientious movie-goer. The
story is an honest biography of the hopes, struggles and achieve- ments of the great French scien- tist F. Louis Pasteur, and por-i trays the prejudice, superstition and fith be had to overcome. Han-: dicapped by every kind of obstacle. his findings revolutionised the me dical world.
The story makes one thought, ful and serious, but is definitely a re-creation of a historical record that makes for outstanding enter- tainment. You can't help feeling. rather sorry for the wife (30 excellently played by Josephine Hutchinson) but then we are told that it is a hard life to share res- ponsibilities, troubles and triumphs of a genius.
