In accordance with the announced intention of the Communist Deputies in the Spanish Parlia-! ment, they tabled a motion for a debate yester- day on the serious clashes between the Civil Guard and the inhabitants of the village of Yate, which occurred on Friday last, when 22 villagers and two policemen were killed.

The Communists, supported by the revolutionary section of the Socialists, are attempting to put the whole blame on the po lice, and intend to make use of this opportunity to demand the disbanding of the Civil Guard, the special police employed most- Robertly in the country districts, who also played a leading part in the
