Charles Mauras, director of the Royalist organ Action Francese, who has frequent- ly been in the public's notice in recent years, chiefly because he 'stirred up the Right-Wing students of the Sorbonne against the Government in power, was once again in the centre of the stage of public affairs when yesterday the Appelate Court dealt with his appeal against the judgment of the Penal Chamber of March 21, whereby M. Mauras was sentenced to four months' imprison- ment for alleged incitement to murder.
