GEN. CHIANG AT

CHANGSHA

Meeting With Mr. Hu Han-Min? RUMOURS CIRCULATED

From Our Own Correspondent] Canton, Yesterday.

The arrival of General Chiang Tem Kai-shek at Changsha has vived the rumours that he will meet Mr. Hu Han-min, Canton Kuomintang leader, somewhere in Southern Hunan for a parley on important political questions.

Mr. Hu is still in town and it appears unlikely that he will leave for anywhere. His proposals for yet national salvation have not been accepted by General Chiang, hence the news of a meeting of the

leaders appears mature.
