AFZAL'S LABORIOUS KNOCK

(By “L. B. W.*)

HE Indian Recreation Club 'second eleven won the junior cricket championship yester- 3012 day when they beat the Royal Army Service 22 Corps by 5 wickets at Sookunpoo, a feature of the game being the remarkably fine bowling of 109.00 A. M. Rumjahn, who gave away only 12 runs in 48.00 11 overs, during the course of which he took 3

Under the circumstances the In- dians were lucky to dismiss their opponents for 99 runs, after which they went on to get the required runs for the loss of only 5 wickets. 9.59 M. Afzal made 51 runs, not out, 9.59 but the type of cricket played
