LEN HARVEY'S
OPERATION "Better Than Ever' After Madeira Trip
I
London, February 17. The operation at Windsor on Len Harvey, the British heavy-weight" boxer, for the removal of his sep- tic tonsils has been entirely sac- cessful, and has had a beneficial effect upon his health generally.
"Although I have never said so, I have suffered on, and... of in health for the past three years,” said Harvey to day.. "Now that they are removed I feel sure I shall fight better than ever."
Harvey and his wife are going for a holiday to Madeira in 2 fortnight's time. When he re turns he will be looking out for further fights.
"I am by no means finished with
the game" he said, “and 1-- still- have an eye on Jack Petersen.”
