An exciting game of hockey was witnessed yesterday when the newly formed Wanderers eleven were. defeated by the Macau Hoc-! key Club first eleven by 5 goals to 3. after the Portuguese team had led at the interval by 4 goals to 1.
The outstanding feature of the game was supplied by S. A. Fow-i Jer and T. S. D., Whitley, wha! twice broke through the Macau! defence in the second half for the! former to secure

Signor Mussolini returned to the Palazzo Venezia after the ceremony, but reappeared on the balcony-to respond to the de- monstrations of the huge crowd.
