CHAMBER MUSIC CONCERT
Trio At Helena May Institute
ENJOYABLE PROGRAMME
Only a mere handful of people -attended the concert of chamber music presented at the Helens May Institate last evening by Mrs. H. Arnold, Mrs. H. Erelie, Mr. Hj Evelie and Mr. A 1 Leask, --but those who were present certainly got their money's worth in the fare provided, which was of high standard throughout. Here -is-s-band of amateurs who "; abe viously play chamber music toge- ther because they enjoy doing...80, and when they take the trouble to work up a programme for the en tertainment-of-s-larger public than --can be accommodated in their draw-
"ing-rooms, it must be somewhat-
discouraging to find only a mesyrel · response to their efforts.
However, they did not allow any such considerations as these to in-j fluence their playing last evening. They gave full measure of enjoy- ment to those present by a charm- ing programe of representative; music well rendered.
