Shanghai, To-day. The total export of silk frome January to November last year was worth $34,670,000, showing: a sharp increase as compared with the corresponding period o 1934, according to statistics re- leased by the Foreign Trade Bureau

There was also a considerable increase in the import of arti ficial silk during the period, the- total amount being $6,660,298,
