nessed at King's Park yesterday afternoon between the Recreio and the Hong Kong Hockey Club, resulting in a draw of one goal each. The Recreio were decidedly the faster of the two teams, and had it not been for the fine defensive! measures of the Club, who incidentally were playing one man short, victory might have gone to the Portuguese team.

Gonsalves, the Recreio left-half, was very much to the fore throughout the game, although he shone particularly during the first quarter. He was responsible for some excellent spoiling.

Pote-Hunt, who scored for the Club, had a successful after- noon, and, zlthough the general standard of play was high, in comparison he was quite outstanding. On yesterday's showing he had an inclination to be rather erratic when passing-
