Murder Of Husband Alleged

REMARKABLE LETTER IN

HOLIDAY TRAGEDY

London. A woman, who was alleged to have stated that she loved her husband too much to divorce: him, was at Eastbourne recent- ly committed for trial charged with his murder and attempt- ing to commit suicide.

Mr. E G. Robey. prosecuting. said the wozkan. Mrs.

Alice Read, 56, of Oxford-road. Chis wick, and her husband. Charles Read. lived amiably, but they did not enjoy good health. She was nervous and hysterica!
