A double squeeze is not general- r considered one of the simpler plays, and methods of defeating more difficult than the squeeze itself. On to-day's hand the East and West players man.. aged an escape worthy of Houdini by discarding their high cards and retaining their low ones. If this procedure seems a little insane at first glance, perhaps the reason is the well-known affinity between in- sanity and genius.
