AMAZING BOXING BY JACKIE BROWN

TWO OPPONENTS BEATEN

IN 13 MINUTES

IRISHMAN IS OUTCLASSED

London, July 30. JACKIE BROWN (Manchester), the world's fly-weight champion, defeated two opponents at Belle Vue, Manchester, last evening, in roughly thirteen minutes' actual fighting.

First he so far outclassed his original rival the Irish bantam-weight, Jackie Quinn (Belfast) as to cause the referee to intervene in the second round of a contest scheduled for twelve rounds; and then beat Sid Rose of Preston in the third round.

Quinn had arrived from Ireland 5 hours after the time scheduled for the weigh-in ceremony, making the journey by air after telephonic communication had been established with his manager, Jim Rice.
