The celebrations on the oc- casion of the completion of the third century of the existence of the Academie Francaise, which is also the 50th anniversary of Victor Hugo's death, will be at- tended at the invitation of the Rector of the Sorbonne by the President of the German Aca-1 demy of Literature. Hanns Jobst, the President of the Reich Chamber of Literature, Hans Friedrich Blanck, and Pro- fessor Cartius of Bonn Univer- sity.
