THERE will be no Sunday boxing in public in London after June 30. This decision was announced yesterday at the London County. Council meeting by Mr. J. P. Blake, chairman of the Entertainments Committee.

He was replying to a question by Mrs. L'Estrange Malone. who asked whether his attention had been drawn to the un- licensed boxing competitions or exhibitions at present being held in London on Sundays, and whether he was satisfied that such competitions or exhibitions were legal and that the necessary precautions were observed for the safety of the public.
