La the bi-annual match between the Happy Valley and Kowloon Golf Clubs, played over the Kow- loon course yesterday, the Valley *players were successful by one point, with a total score of 17% to Kowloon's total of 16%.

After the morning round, the Valley total was 9 to Kowloon's 8 and the visitors squared the fourball matches in the afternoon.

This year, a trophy, subscribed by members of the Happy Valley Club and the Kowloon Club, was up for competition, and the Happy Valley players have to be cop- gratulated ut winning the "Kow- loon-Valley Ashes."
