During the recent Vanderbilt Cup Tournament held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in New York City a great many, large swing bands oc- curred, on which one team or an other picked up anywhere from 1,000 to 2,500 points. On the hand below the foam of Edward Hymes, Jr., Louis H. Watson, M. D. Maler and Samuel Fry, Jr. picked up 1,600 points by obtaining a sizable plus at both tablen.
