Indian Silk Merchants' Association Plan

At a meeting of the Indian Silk ↑ Merchants' Association; þeld in the officer of Messrs. D. Chellaram, China Building, on Saturday last, it was decided that in future all Indian silk shops will remain open for six hours only, on Sundays.. The resolution was unanimously passed.

Previously the shops remained open "all day on Sundays, but, coin- mencing from Sunday next, they will open at 12 noon and close at 5 p.m.

Those present at the meeting were: Mr. Harumal, Mr. Leokumal, Mr. Bussarmal, Mr. Shamdas, Mr. Utoomal, Mr. Ramchand. Mr. D. T. Wadhwani, Mr. Kisshachand Mr. Nenumal.
