Shipping Slump Causes Drop In Revenue
That the slump in the shipping industry had heavily diminished the profits of the Kowloon Wharf. & Godown Co., Ltd., despite the fact that 75-more vessels dis- charged at the wharves in 1934 than in the previous year, was disclosed by the Hon. Mr. J..J. Paterson at the annual general; 'meeting of the Company this afternoon.
Supporting the Chairman were the following directors, the Hön.. Mr. C. Gordon Mackie, Mr. Frank Austin, Mr. S. II. Dodwell, Mr. J. H. Jessen, Mr. Felix A. Joseph, Mr. T. B. Wilson, and Mr. F. H.j Crapnel (Secretary).
Shareholders present were: Mesars. A. W. Heron, A. N. Mac- kenzie, G. Castle. D. Mackenzie, J., M. Alves, J. D. Danby, Kwok Hin Wong. G. B. S. Thomson. N. V. A. Groucher, and Mr. R. A. Wadeson, of Messrs. Deacons, Solicitors for the Company.
