The match was the "needle" game of the lenirue, both teams having won all their matches.

The United States are in the fortunate position of having a number of youngsters who are definitely' In the top class.

Perry himself realises the danger. I received yesterday a let ter from Australia giving details of a talk Perry had on Davis Cup prospects with a well-known tennis authority, writes a Home. correspondent. The gist of the letter is that Perry is prepared for a great American lawn tennis revival. Here are some of his points.

circles by the action of the Interport Selec tion Committee, who have "dropped" N. A. E. Mackay, of the Club and St. Andrew's, from the right-wing position, and G. Sommer, of the Y.M.C.A., from left- half, and have included in their stead G. E. R. Divett of the Club and Alaf Din of the Punjabis.

This action was taken following Sunday's game between the Interport eleven and the Rest of the Colony, the latter winning by the convincing margin of 3 goals to 1, thanks to the very fine

displays of Divett and Alaf Din.
