the prosecution has offered Bruno Hauptmann his life if he reveals the identity of his confederates in the kidnapping and mur- der of the Lindbergh baby in 1932, but the "New York Times" states that Mr. Wil- lentz has denied that he made any such offer.

Special precautions have been taken to conceal the identity of the three wit- nesses in the Haupt- mann trial who are arriving to-morrow by the s.s. Ile de France.
